About The Firm

    Jackson E. "Pete" Fields, Jr., is the founder of The Fields Law Firm, P.A. Pete is the author of Elder Law Today, a monthly newsletter designed as a resource to give social workers, case managers, hospital discharge planners and other medical professionals the information they need to assist older patients, patients with Alzheimer's or Special Needs and their families. 

    Pete is also one of the upstate's most knowledgeable speakers on Income and Estate Tax Reduction and Elimination, Medicaid Planning, and other senior financial issues. He is a frequent guest on the radio talk show, "It's Legal". Pete frequently lectures on Elder Law issues as well as the legal issues faced by families who have a loved one with Alzheimer's.

Arden McCullough Fields, Attorney at Law

 

 Arden McCullough Fields is Pete’s eldest daughter and better known as “Arden Jr.” Arden McCullough received her B.A. in English from the College of Charleston and finished law school with honors from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan.  She has worked for The Fields Law Firm since 2000.  She has returned to South Carolina to practice Elder Law with her father and is currently managing the Greenville office.

Arden Perry Fields, Office Manager

Arden Perry Fields is the office manager or better known as “The Boss.”  Arden worked for 18 years as a history teacher before retiring and managing The Fields Law Firm in Clemson, South Carolina. She received her B.A. from Meredith College, in Raleigh, North Carolina and her  M.Ed. in Secondary Guidance and Counseling.  Arden is a native of Chesterfield, South Carolina

Ann Marie holds an Associates of Science in Accounting from Suffolk Community College, Riverhead, Long Island, New York and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (minor in Psychology) from St. John’s University, Jamaica, New York, where she received the College of Business Administration Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in recognition of High Scholarship in Management as well as the College of Business Administration Certificate in recognition of High Scholarship in the Professional Honors Program. She is also a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants as well as the South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association since 2003.
